 They come in all sizes, and shapes. They come in all ages, from all walks of life. They remind us of "goodness". They make us want to be better people. They are our "Local Heroes" and they live right next door, or just down the street. We saw them in the grocery store yesterday. We cried on their shoulder, or thanked them for a meal, or for taking care of our children, or for picking up groceries. We view their art and we appreciate the flower beds they nurture. We always feel better when they smile at us. They really are everywhere, and we want to honor them. We want to honor them today, hopefully while they’re still here to know the difference they made.
